Creating a new virtual PC is easy, but first you have to turn on the Hyper-V feature. Here's how. With those requirements out of the way, you're ready to turn on Hyper-V. A virtual hard drive is required so that you can install an operating system on the virtual machine. On the Installation Options wizard, select Install an operating system from a bootable image file and then select an operating system.
